It looks like Glampi is asking Steinar for shoeing renewal or maybe a manicure

The weather was beautiful but cold yesterday, it takes some time to get used to the cold though. The mares were brought home for grooming, they now look very good and are now out on the field.

This young stallion is 3 years old, Dam is Álfhildur frá Syðri-Gegnishólum and sire is Meginn frá Ketilsstöðum. There he is having look at grandma Álfadís frá Selfossi and mother Álfhildur, it would be acceptable for us if he would try to be like them.

This was a good move, to get all the shoes in order, normally they lie in buckets and boxes on the floor making it difficult to reuse them.

Nice to be able to picture these two mares together, Grýla frá Stangarholti and her grand daughter Álfatrú frá Syðri-Gegnishólum. Álfatrú is a daughter of Álfadís frá Selfossi and Sveinn-Hervar frá Þúfu í Landeyjum. Grýla is 29 years old and Álfatrú is 2 years old and a funny mix of her grandmother and mother in confirmation and colour. She has a good and strong back and her temperament is curious and friendly. My friend Ellen was making a lot of funny sound and positions to make them pose, but mostly they looked surprised

Beautiful morning at Ketilsstaðir, the herd of mares and geldings keep close to the house, in background the part of a mountain named Ketilsstaðaaxlir.

Five beautiful black yearlings in the mountain in Ketilsstaðir, all mares, would have been good to bring the microchip reader. They all have excellent breeding lines, it's Álfadís and Stáli frá Kjarri, Álfhildur and Spaði frá Stuðlum, Aðaldís and Sveinn-Hervar frá Þúfu í Landeyjum, Vænting and Sveinn-Hervar frá Þúfu í Landeyjum and Álfastjarna and Aðall frá Nýjabæ.
