We are home again from the World Championships in Berlin, I have been using some time to digest the experience. This was a great time with solidarity and friendship, the atmosphere around and in our team was outstanding. I'm proud and honored to be a part of the Icelandic team.
I chose to bring my dearest horse, Álfarinn and was able to create a "magic moment " with him in the preliminaries. That, in the end, was most important for me, we were able to show our capacity. 
In the finals, when I think back, it wasn't really right from the beginning. Why, I can only speculate. In the end, what comes back to me again and again. Berlin is not a horse friendly place. The change is too big for horses coming straight from Iceland with too short time to adjust and I think it's based on chance which horses are able to handle it and which do not. This is not an excuse only my thoughts.
Sigurbjörn team leader, Sigurður, Anton, Arnar Bjarki, trainers, our Team board, team members, grooms, helpers and Erlendur our farrier, thank you so much you are all geniuses. I'm proud to be a part of the Icelandic team.

This little good looking fellow was born yesterday, the mother Djörfung sired by Álfasteinn frá Selfossi is the third mare in a row to receive Honour price for offsprings. Sire is Arður frá Brautarholti which as his father Orri also have Honour price for offsprings so we might have some expectations for him.

These two did a good job today, 7.40 and 12^thplace in the Icelandic Championship T1 among great horses. This is their highest score so far I thinkk it's really promishing. Álfgrímur frá Syðri-Gengishólum, dam is Álfadís frá Selfossi and sire is Orri frá Þúfu. Rider is Bergur Jónsson.

We are competing in the Icelandic Championship league these days, Álfarinn and Olil scored 7,77 in the preliminaries in 5 gait and are in the lead among great horses. Elin and Frami are in a shared 4^th position in fourgait with 7,57, they will compete in Tölt T1 tomorrow as well as Bergur and Álfgrímur.
Finals will be on Sunday.
